This is officially my first blog post... ever! Where better to pick up, than with a lovely wedding in Venice, Italy!! This wedding is from June, 2015.
Krista Rockhill and Kevin Cremin shared an intimate ceremony in the Redentore Chapel on the southern side of Venice. For both the bride and the groom, the event started with a lovely boat ride through the bustling canals to the gorgeous cathedral. Wherever Krista went, tourist and locals alike would clap and cheer!! For the ceremony, an interpreter was present to translate the minister's message. From the ceremony, close friends and family accompanied them on another boat ride from the ceremony venue to the gorgeous Boscolo Venezia for the reception!
The Boscolo gardens are every wedding photographer's dream! Multiple paths wrap through the gardens - over and under bridges, through a cave, and are flanked by tons of gorgeous florals. Cocktail hour was held in a lounge area on a beautiful green lawn... close to the dock where they arrived. From there, guests moved into the cave for more hor d'oeuvres and wine. Finally, everyone moved under the tented dining area for dinner... just in time too, because it immediately started raining. The couple and their loved ones, circled a long banquet table for a lovely four course meal, a toast, music, and dancing! At the end of the evening, the group took the party to the "streets" (canals), for more fun and dancing!
Everything about this day was intimate and romantic! But I suppose that is to be expected when you decide to wed in Venice Italy!!
